Fix Leaking Showers: Instructions

This guide will show you how to use Shower Plug to fix a leaking shower or tiled area, and how you can combine it with Slip Grip to make it safer.

Shower Plug: Directions

Shower Plug
Shower Plug is used to fix leaking showers and tiled areas. The clear, brush-on solution that soaks into tiles & grout making them water-repellent.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Directions
  1. Clean algae & mould off tiles and grout using bleach.
  2. Fix any cracked or broken grout.
  3. Allow surface to dry for at least 6 hours.
  4. Protect glass and painted surfaces.
  5. Brush Shower Plug on tiles beginning at top of wall and covering entire wall and floor.
  6. Wait 5 minutes.
  7. Apply 2nd coat, as above. Wait 5 minutes then wipe any residue with a dry cloth.
  8. Allow surface to dry for 12 –18 hours before use.
  9. Clean brush and any splashes on glass with mineral turpentine.
  10. Apply silicone sealant in joint between wall and floor.

Shower Plug - Slip Grip: Combination

Slip Grip
Shower Plug will fix a leaking shower (or any tiled area) and Slip Grip will prevent slipping on shower tiles.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Directions
  1. Clean tiles thoroughly and wipe until touch dry.
  2. Test in an inconspicous area to ensure satisfaction. (Apply 1st coat, wait 5minutes. Apply 2nd coat, wait 5minutes. Apply 3rd coat, wait 5 minutes. Wash off. Check if satisfied with appearance. Slide a damp cloth/paper towel from untreated area to treated area. Surface should ‘grip’ cloth at treated area.)
  3. Brush or sponge undiluted Slip Grip evenly onto tiles. Apply 1st coat, wait 5 minutes. Apply third coat wait five minutes, then wash off.
  4. Do not allow surface to dry between applications.

  5. Rinse surface thoroughly with water immediately after final application.
  6. Area is ready for immediate use.
  7. Wash equipment in cold water.
  8. For extra grip repeat application after 48 hours.
