What is the difference between Shower Plug and other waterproofing products?
Shower Plug is an impregnant - this means it physically and chemically bonds with the tile substrate, and does not sit on the top of the tile surface like coating-type waterproofers. Coatings are easily damaged allowing water to penetrate beneath, causing deterioration. Shower Plug allows the surface to 'breathe' - it repels water while allowing water vapours to escape, thus inhibiting mould growth.
